Commission “Cartography and Artificial Intelligence (CartoAI)”
The German Cartographic Society e.V. (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Kartographie e.V.) is a non-profit, economically independent and politically neutral institution of trade members in the field of cartography and people interested in mapping in general.
As the youngest commission of the DGfK, we are committed to advancing AI applications and innovations within cartography. This commission will focus on cutting-edge academic research, support interdisciplinary exchange, and strengthen collaboration between industry, society and academia to drive meaningful innovation in cartography.
